What is tsbin?

tsbin is a secure, temporary file and text sharing platform designed with privacy in mind. Share sensitive information knowing it will automatically expire and be permanently deleted.

tsbin is part of P8labs - a collection of free, open-source utility tools designed to make your digital life easier. This project is operated by an individual, not sponsored by any organization, and maintained as a community resource. All code is open-source and available on GitHub.

Key Features

  • End-to-End Encryption: All content is encrypted in your browser before upload. We never see your unencrypted data.
  • Automatic Expiration: Content automatically expires and is permanently deleted after the specified time (default: 24 hours, max: 7 days).
  • No Tracking: We don't track your activity, collect analytics, or store any personal information.
  • Passcode Protection: Optional custom passcodes for additional security.
  • File Support: Share files up to 50MB with full encryption.

How It Works

1. Client-Side Encryption

Your content is encrypted using AES-256-GCM directly in your browser. The encryption happens before any data leaves your device.

2. Secure Storage

Encrypted data is stored temporarily on our servers. We only store the encrypted version - we cannot decrypt your content.

3. Share the Link

Share the generated link with your recipient. They'll need the passcode to decrypt the content.

4. Automatic Deletion

Content is automatically deleted after expiration. No traces remain on our servers.

Security Details

  • AES-256-GCM encryption
  • PBKDF2 key derivation with 100,000 iterations
  • SHA-256 password hashing
  • Zero-knowledge architecture - we cannot decrypt your content
  • No logs, no tracking, no analytics
